Proudly built in St. Cloud, Minnesota, our H2 1000 V-twin engines display big-time displacement in an ATV — 951cc. The "H" stands for hemispherical combustion chamber, which provides a cleaner, more complete combustion. EFI delivers consistent starting and performance, regardless of climate or altitude.

These St. Cloud built H1 engines can be found in the feature-loaded Prowler XTX 700i and Prowler HDX 700i. If you're on tighter budget, no need to feel left out as the Prowler XT 550i also provides you with the power and reliability of the H1 engine. One thing is for sure; all of our H1 engines provide ultrasmooth performance.

As bulletproof as they come, this durable transmission is made of a centrifugal clutch with primary and driven belt clutches. As RPMs rise, the centrifugal clutch engages — allowing the primary clutch to be engaged with the belt at all times. And that means reduced belt wear, extended belt life and true engine braking.
